The McCloskey R230 Track-Mounted Scalping Screen is a large, heavy-duty high-energy screener designed for demanding crushed stone, recycled asphalt and concrete applications. Built around a large 20' × 6' two-deck screenbox, the R230 combines aggressive screening action, high production and track mobility with the ability to handle large and difficult feed material.

The large screenbox and aggressive screening action make the R230 particularly effective for heavy scalping and difficult feed material. Its screening area provides additional capacity for larger processing operations, while different screen-media configurations allow the plant to be adapted to a range of material sizes and applications.

The R230 can operate as a primary scalper ahead of a jaw, impact or cone crusher, taking out a sized, finished product and sending the oversize only to the crusher, or as a stand-alone plant producing multiple products. Its combination of heavy-duty construction, screening capacity and mobility makes it well suited for quarry operations, crushed stone, recycled asphalt and concrete.
