McCloskey R230 Dual Power Track Mounted Heavy Duty Scalping Screen

The McCloskey R230 Dual Power Track-Mounted Scalping Screen is a large, heavy-duty high-energy screener designed for demanding crushed stone, recycled asphalt and concrete applications. Built around a large 20' × 6' two-deck screenbox, the R230 combines aggressive screening action, high production and track mobility with the flexibility to operate using diesel power or an external electrical supply.

The dual power configuration gives producers flexibility to use available site electricity for regular screening operations while retaining diesel capability for jobs without an electrical connection. Electric operation can reduce fuel use, engine maintenance and operating noise, making it particularly useful at established processing sites.

The large screenbox and aggressive screening action make the R230 effective for heavy scalping and difficult feed material. Different screen-media configurations allow the plant to be adapted to a range of material sizes and applications.

The R230 can operate as a primary scalper ahead of a jaw, impact or cone crusher, taking out a sized, finished product and sending the oversize only to the crusher, or as a stand-alone plant producing multiple products.
