The McCloskey I54 Impact Crusher, also commonly referred to as the I54V3, is an industry-leading, heavy-duty, high-production tracked impact crusher designed for demanding quarry, aggregate, concrete, asphalt, and demolition recycling applications. Combining a massive impactor, exceptional horsepower, direct crusher drive, and proven McCloskey engineering, the I54V3 is designed to deliver the production, durability, and performance expected from one of the largest and most capable mobile impact crushers in its class.

At the heart of the I54 is a massive 48" diameter × 53" wide four-bar impactor, providing the size, power, and crushing capacity required for serious high-production applications.

One of the standout features of the McCloskey I54 is its exceptionally large 53.5" × 37" crusher feed opening. The large opening allows the I54V3 to accept feed material up to approximately 24 inches, helping maintain excellent material flow into the impactor. The impactor uses two aprons and four blow bars, with hydraulic ram and shim adjustment.

Power is supplied by either a 510 HP Volvo D13 or a Caterpillar C13 producing up to 536 HP, depending on engine and emissions configuration. The impactor uses a direct-drive system, efficiently transferring engine power to the crusher rotor for demanding high-production crushing applications.

The large 8.9 yd³ hopper provides substantial feed capacity. The I54/I54V3 is also available with an optional independently vibrating double-deck grizzly pre-screen, which can remove much of the fines before they enter the impactor. This can help increase crushing capacity and reduce unnecessary wear inside the crusher, particularly when processing material containing significant amounts of fines.

An optional vibrating underpan feeder beneath the crusher discharge helps move material efficiently away from the impactor and onto the main discharge conveyor. The open chassis design provides excellent access around the crusher for routine maintenance and service, while the integrated hydraulic folding hopper and stockpiling conveyors contribute to fast setup and transport.

The I54/I54V3 is available with a high-Gauss cross-belt magnet for powerful removal of reinforcing steel and other ferrous material from the crushed product, helping produce a cleaner finished product.
