The McCloskey J50 Jaw Crusher, also commonly referred to as the J50V2, is a heavy-duty, high-production tracked primary crusher designed for demanding aggregate, quarry, recycling, and construction applications. At the heart of the McCloskey J50 is a massive 50" × 29" single-toggle jaw crusher, providing an exceptionally wide feed opening capable of handling large feed material while maintaining high production rates.

The McCloskey J50 is an extremely versatile primary crusher, equally at home processing quarried shot rock, natural stone, concrete, and demolition material. In quarry applications, the large jaw opening allows the J50 to efficiently process shot rock up to approximately 25 inches in diameter, making it an excellent choice for primary reduction ahead of secondary crushers and screening plants. Its heavy-duty design also makes it well suited for concrete recycling and demolition applications, where feed material can be variable and difficult to process.

Power is supplied by a Caterpillar C9 350 HP diesel engine, providing the horsepower required for demanding primary crushing applications and heavy-duty hydraulic functions.

A large 8.9 yd³ hopper provides substantial feed capacity, while the heavy-duty grizzly feeder delivers controlled material flow into the crusher. The grizzly section allows fines to bypass the crushing chamber, reducing unnecessary wear and maximizing available crushing capacity.
